Sanchez Romero Carvajal 100% Iberian morcón sausage from, stuffed in small intestine. The meat is chosen and then hand-cut with knives, chopped into meat and fat, and the flavoured with spices and authorized additives. Cured naturallly by drying. Probably the only type of chorizo that is still manually crafted with hand and knife in Spain.
Ingredients: Lean meat from pure Iberian pigs, salt, paprika, lactose, dextrose, spices, protein isolated from soybean, sugar/acidity corrector E-331, preservatives E-250 and E-252, antioxidant E-301, dye E-124.
Organoleptic Features :
Touch: firm and compact, with light collapse when compressed.
Sight: oval shaped with longitudinal lobes, with observable grooves, rough appearance and well attached to the casing. The cut is homogeneous and clean, with visible fat filtrations. Normal color, large chunks, and clean differentiation between fragments of meat and fat.
Smell and taste: pleasant smell of pepper with a touch of smoke. Soft spicy flavour, due to the spices that it contains.
Recommendations: allow piece to aerate before consumption to better appreciate its aroma and flavor. Once opened, consume within a period of 1 month.
Preservation: keep at low temperatures (5 - 10° C).
Presentation: single piece, vacuum-packed.
