Sánchez Romero Carvajal since 1879. It was in 1879 when Mr. Juan Rafael Sánchez Romero opened the first slaughterhouse in Jabugo, a small town in the province of Huelva. Thanks to his initiative, Jabugo would eventually become the birthplace of the world's finest ham. Since then, the goal of Sanchez Romero Carvajal has been to produce the best products derived from the Iberian pig. The process encompasses everything from raising the pigs to curing each piece in the cellars. Always under the watchful eye of a unique figure, the master ham cutter, and of course, following a strict Quality Management System.
