"Jamón de Trevélez" produced in Juviles by hand and natural, in the center of the Alpujarra, at more than 1,250 m. altitude in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, starting from a high-quality white pig, salty and without nitrifying agents or preservatives, only sea salt, complying with the regulations of the regulatory council.
Its healing time is between 17 months and 23 months of natural healing. All Trevélez hams must be protected by the Regulatory Council and must have a seal with a "T" numbered and controlled by the Council in blue, red or black.
