Product with I.G.P. "Jamón de Trevélez" made in Juviles by hand and natural, in the center of the Alpujarra, at more than 1,250 m. of altitude in the natural park of Sierra Nevada, starting from a white pig of high quality, salty and without nitrifiers or preservatives, only sea salt, complying with the regulations of the regulatory council.
Its healing time is between 17 months and 23 months of natural healing. All Trevélez hams must be protected by the Regulatory Council and must have a seal with a "T" numbered and controlled by the Council in blue, red or black.
Types:
Trevélez blue seal ham: ham with more than 17 months and a weight of 7 to 8 kg. about.
Jamón de Trevélez red seal: ham with more than 20 months and an approximate weight of 8 to 9 kg.
Trevélez black seal ham: ham with more than 23 months and an approximate weight of 8 to 10 kg.
